PENGARUH KETERBUKAAN PERDAGANGAN, INFLASI, DAN NILAI TUKAR TERHADAP FDI DI INDONESIA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jangka panjang dan jangka pendek keterbukaan perdagangan, inflasi, dan nilai tukar terhadap arus masuk Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) di Indonesia dalam jangka pendek dan jangka panjang. Penelitian ini menggunakan data time series dengan rentang waktu selama 48 tahun dari tahun 1978 hingga 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) dan uji kointegrasi ARDL Bounds Test untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara jangka panjang antara FDI dan variabel-variabel yang mempengaruhinya. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan kointegrasi antara FDI dan variabel yang mempengaruhinya. Dalam jangka panjang, inflasi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap FDI. Sementara itu, keterbukaan perdagangan dan nilai tukar berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan. Dalam jangka pendek, FDI dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh FDI pada periode sebelumnya, keterbukaan perdagangan, inflasi, dan nilai tukar, dengan inflasi dan nilai tukar yang menunjukkan pengaruh negatif. Hasil ini menunjukkan pentingnya stabilitas ekonomi makro, khususnya pengendalian inflasi dan nilai tukar dalam menarik investasi asing langsung ke Indonesia
